The dune-like installation (5 meter hight and 7 meters diameter) consists of shredded bank notes. Following an agreement with the Central Bank of Cyprus, shredded Cypriot pounds were collected in January 2008 when the country entered the Eurozone. The work which represents the whole wealth of the Island at this transitional moment comments on the charged historical moment and the specific symbolic value of the cypriot currency.

He is best known for his four-volume album The Disintegration Loops (2002–2003), constructed from rapidly decaying twenty-year-old tapes of his earlier music
Basinki has alleged that he finished the project the morning of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, and sat on the roof of his apartment building in Brooklyn with friends listening to the project as the WTC towers collapsed.

Jørgen Leth is a Danish poet and film director who is considered a leading figure in experimental documentary film making.the most notable are his epic documentary A Sunday in Hell (1977) and his surrealistic short film The Perfect Human (1967).
The Perfect Human (Danish: Det perfekte menneske) is a 1967 short film by Jørgen Leth lasting 13 minutes. It depicts a man and a woman, both labelled 'the perfect human' in a detached manner, "functioning" in a white boundless room, as though they were subjects in a zoo.
This is in my mind a masterpiece, one of the finest short films of all time. I have found the translated English version which i hope you enjoy.
SUPERFLEX is a Danish artists' group founded and directed by Jakob Fenger, Rasmus Nielsen and Bjørnstjerne Christiansen.
It has been working since 1993 on a series of projects related to economic forces, democratic production conditions and self-organisation.
The artists have examined alternative energy production methods (Supergas) and commodity production in Brazil, Thailand and Europe in their projects, which both expose and question the existing economic structures. These artistic activities — as, for example, the on-going project Guarana Power, in which the artists developed a drink together with local farmers who cultivate the caffeine-rich berries of the guarana plant — are not necessarily opposed to commercialism and globalisation, but try instead to render economic structures visible and to establish a new balance.

Flooded McDonald's is a film work in which a convincing life-size replica of the interior of a McDonald's burger bar, without any customers or staff present, gradually floods with water. Furniture is lifted up by the water, trays of food and drinks start to float around, electrics short circuit and eventually the space becomes completely submerged.
Flooded McDonald's is a film by Superflex. Produced by Propeller Group (Ho Chi Minh City) in association with Matching Studio (Bangkok) and co-produced by the South London Gallery, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (Denmark) and Oriel Mostyn Gallery (Wales) with generous support from the Danish Film Institute.

A hypnotist guides us through our worst nightmares to reveal the crisis without as the psychosis within. During 4 sessions you will experience the fascination of speculation and power, too fear, anxiety and frustration of loosing control, economic loss and personal disaster.
Chris Markers still powerful 1962 post-apocalyptic short film, with its classic anagnorisis finale. Produced entirely with still photographs, music and voice-over narration, it portrays a horrifying future world and the melancholic vision of a man consumed with nostalgic love for a dead woman he saw as child. Becoming the subject of the subterranean totalitarian governments attempt to throw emissaries into time, to call past and future to the rescue of the present, he just might have a chance to see her once again.
